Dear Colleagues,

I extend a warm welcome to everyone attending the TransMedRi Workshop in Biostatistics on Critical evaluation of statistical analysis in scientific paper.

The Workshop in Biostatistics is intended for research fellows and other researchers participating in TransMedRi or any other scientific project dealing with statistics and statistical preparation of research papers, who want to advance their knowledge and skills in more complex data analysis. The sessions are organized as problem-oriented courses. The participants will have the opportunity to acquire new statistical knowledge, perform statistical analyses using software tools, and critically evaluate statistical analyses in published scientific papers.

General information

The Workshop will be held at the premises of Rijeka University School of Medicine, B. Branchetta Street 20, Rijeka, Croatia, in the Council Chamber (Vijećnica), 3^rd floor, on June 10—11, 2011. Workshop is intended for educational purposes and will provide ample opportunity for the participants to share information and discuss new knowledge. The official languages are English and Croatian. Printed material will be provided in English only.
